What is BehavioralHires?
BehavioralHires is a job board for behavioral health and nothing else: mental health, substance use treatment and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
It has 14 role pages: therapist, licensed clinical social worker, mental health counselor, marriage and family therapist, psychiatric nurse practitioner, psychiatrist, clinical psychologist, substance abuse counselor, behavioral health technician, BCBA, RBT, behavioral health case manager, peer support specialist and clinical director.
Each role also has a remote page for remote and telehealth openings.
Read more on the About page.
For job seekers it is free: searching and applying cost nothing, and there is no profile to create.
Employers pay to post.
What does it cost to post a job on BehavioralHires?
Prices are published on the pricing page.
These are launch prices.
- Standard: $199 per post (regular price $299). A 30-day post, indexed in Google Jobs and shown on the matching role and city pages.
- Featured: $399 per post (regular price $499). Everything in Standard, plus the company logo, a highlighted card, top-of-feed placement and a Featured badge.
A single post is a one-time payment.
It never renews and there is nothing to sign.
How does posting a job work?
Pick Standard or Featured, describe the position, add the link where applications should go, and pay through Stripe.
The post goes live the moment Stripe confirms checkout; there is no approval step.
Candidates who click Apply go to the hiring organization's own page.
Each post runs 30 days from the purchase date.
There is no employer dashboard: to change a live post or take it down early, email support with the job title.
What are the slot plans?
Organizations with several locations or constant openings can take a monthly slot plan instead of paying per post.
Each slot holds one live post, for any mix of roles and sites, and a filled role's slot can be pointed at a new opening as often as needed at no charge.
- Growth: $899 a month for up to 10 posts live at once, with the logo on each post.
- Brand: $1,749 a month for up to 25 posts live at once, every post upgraded to Featured and priority support from one direct contact person.
Slot plans are arranged by contacting BehavioralHires, not through self-serve checkout.
They bill monthly and can be canceled whenever you like, with no minimum commitment and no contract.
Founding Partner pricing is held for 24 months while the plan stays active and is open to the first 10 organizations that subscribe.
Where do the job listings come from?
From two routes: openings collected from employers' own career sites and public job feeds, and posts that employers submit directly and pay for.
A collected listing points back to where it was originally posted, so the application goes to the employer, not to BehavioralHires.
Featured is the one paid placement: a Featured post, or any post on the Brand slot plan, sits at the top of the feed and carries a Featured badge.
Who runs BehavioralHires?
BehavioralHires is run by its founder, Gabriel Meierotto.
He has no clinical license or training and has never provided patient care, and nothing on the site is clinical or mental health advice.
What he knows is the business side: how behavioral health organizations recruit and hire.
When the site's guides cover clinical scope, licensure or state law, the claims rest on primary sources, and a page is only labelled medically reviewed when a specific, credentialed clinician has actually reviewed it.
What does BehavioralHires not do?
- It is not an employer, staffing agency or recruiting agency. It does not screen, interview or vouch for candidates or employers, and it does not guarantee that a listing will result in a hire.
- It does not offer a free posting option for employers.
- It does not give legal, clinical or mental health advice, and its support inbox is not a crisis line.
- It does not label a page as medically reviewed unless a specific, credentialed clinician has actually reviewed it.
- It does not publish candidate or reach numbers.
