Posting an opening on BehavioralHires is a single payment, and the post is visible to candidates the second checkout finishes.
Since you start getting what you paid for right away, the window for a change-of-heart refund is short. Errors in billing are a different matter, and we always fix those.
| Situation | Outcome |
|---|---|
| Billing mistake (ours or a duplicate) | Full refund, any time |
| You cancel within 48 hours | Full refund, post removed |
| More than 48 hours after purchase | No refund; exceptions reviewed individually |
| Post removed for breaking our Terms | No refund |
Billing errors: refunded 100%
No time limit applies to any of these:
- You were billed twice for one post.
- You paid, but a fault on our end kept the post from ever appearing.
- A payment you didn't approve, once we've verified the claim.
Changed your plans? You have 48 hours
Maybe the position got filled internally or the budget moved. Whatever the reason, tell us within 48 hours of paying and we'll pull the post and refund every dollar. No reason required.
Beyond the 48-hour window
By that point the post has had two full days in front of job seekers, so we treat the service as largely delivered, and refunds are no longer available.
The same applies if you hire someone quickly. Ask and we'll gladly remove the post, but days left over in the 30-day run aren't credited back.
Think your circumstances are unusual? Write to us regardless. Each of those requests gets an individual look.
What we don't refund
- Posts we take down for violating the Terms & Conditions, for example a listing that is fraudulent, misleading, discriminatory, or against the law.
- Disappointment with how many people applied or how strong they were. We put your post in front of job seekers; we can't promise a certain number of applicants or guarantee that the post leads to a hire.
Requesting your money back
Send a note to [email protected] using the email address you checked out with. Include the job title and the receipt number from Stripe.
Once approved, we send the money to whatever you originally paid with. Stripe usually shows it on your statement in 5–10 business days, though timing depends on your bank.
